Pedestrian Accidents
Overview
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), in a typical year, nearly a thousand California pedestrians are killed simply trying to cross the street.
We represent clients injured in all types of pedestrian accidents, including hit-and-run accidents and crosswalk injury accidents. NHTSA statistics show that people older than 70 and children between the ages of five and nine are at highest risk, but anyone can suffer a serious injury in a pedestrian accident.
San Francisco has been named as among the most dangerous cities in the nation when it comes to pedestrian accidents. San Francisco is a walking city, with trains, trolleys and cable cars stopping in the middle of the street to let passengers on and off. It is not hard to understand why pedestrians’ lives are in danger.
If you have been injured in a pedestrian accident or if a member of your family was killed while trying to cross the street, please contact us.
