Pedestrian Jack Wing Struck and Killed by Truck in S.F.’s Financial District

Pedestrian Jack Wing, a 78-year-old Albany resident, was struck and killed by a truck on San Francisco’s busy Market Street.  The collision happened at the intersection of Market Street and Beale Street in the Financial District of San Francisco. According to a witness, Wing was walking across Beale Street in a crosswalk when he was struck by a Dodge Ram truck. The driver of the truck stopped at the scene of the accident and is cooperating with San Francisco police.
